Yvette Tromeur Ross

Yvette Ross, age 83, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. Yvette was born in Paterson, NJ on June 30, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Pierre and Marie-Jeanne Tromeur. She was raised in Paterson and graduated from East Side High School. Yvette was a former resident of Hawthorne, NJ before moving to Lakewood 15 years ago. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Anthony; three daughters, Yvette N. Ross and Keith Keller of Silver Beach, NJ, Suzanne and Rick Steele of Chadds Ford, PA, and Renee and Gregor Robertson of Bernardsville, NJ; 6 grandchildren, Lauren Bavuso, John Berry, Courtney Steele-King, Kate Steele, Nicole and Remi Robertson; 2 great-grandchildren, Luke and Mia Bavuso; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lawrence Tromeur. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, September 10, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014, in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
