Robert Fayad

Robert Fayad, 75, passed away February 5, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mr. Fayad was born in Scranton, PA before moving to Newark, NJ where he raised his family and finally settling in Lakewood for the past 15 years. Robert worked as a longshoreman for many years for Preston Trucking in Harrison, NJ. He was an avid fisherman, loved playing bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Fayad is predeceased by his parents Helen and Joe Fayad and a brother Joseph Fayad Jr. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Dolores, son Anthony, daughter in law, Suzy, grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Eric and Joseph and his girlfriend Alina, grandchildren in law, Cheryl, Richie and Darina, great grandchildren, Audrina Marie and Lainey Rae, sister, Rita, brother in law, Robert, and his beloved dog, Spike. Arrangements are under the direction of the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be held privately.
