Peter J. Brennan, 92, passed away October 12, 2010 at Brick Memorial Hospital. Mr. Brennan was a battalion chief for the Northern Manhattan District of the FDNY. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II, serving as a bombardier and completing 33 missions. Peter was an active communicant of St. Luke’s Church in Toms River. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
Pre-Deceased: Mr. Brennan is predeceased by his wife Ann in 1995.
Survivors: Peter is survived by his five children, Joseph Brennan, Joanne Rose, Patricia McCormack, Andrew Brennan and John Brennan, and 10 grandchildren.
Services: Friends may call Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 9:15AM at the St. Luke’s Church in Toms River. Interment will take place at Ocean County Memorial Park, in Toms River.
