Pat was born to her parents, Joseph and Mary Connelly on April 30, 1929 in New York City . She moved to New Jersey in 1962 and was employed as a secretary for most of her working years retiring in 1986 from W.M. Ross & Company Insurance Agency. She moved from Cedar Grove to the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River in 1996. Pat was active in the Community having served on the Pool Committee, Bingo Committee and was President of the Singles Club as well. Pat was happy she moved to Lake Ridge and did not want to live anywhere else. She loved all animals and cared for many during her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her husband, Martin in 1991 and her brother, Joseph in 1995.
Pat is survived by her son, Thomas F. Hogan, of Passaic, a brother, Daniel J. Connelly in Port Isabel. Texas and his wife, Doris, two nieces, Geraldine Denien and her husband, Thomas, Patricia Dammes and her husband, William, two nephews, Michael Connelly and his wife, Donna, and James Connelly. She is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. Private cremation will follow and her cremated remains will be placed at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Toms River Animal Facility in Toms River, N.J. or to PetSmart Adoption Center (called SAVE) in Brick, N.J. or to any animal organization of your choice.
