Mary A. Taylor

Mary was born on July 14, 1931 to Mary and Francis Delaney in Washington Heights I. New York City. She attended Cathedral High School and Hunter College in Manhattan. Mary worked for New York Telephone until starting her family.

Mary was married to James Joseph Taylor Sr for 44 years before his death in 2002. They lived in the Bronx New York and Waldwick and Wyckoff New Jersey prior to retiring to Toms River 26 years ago . She was actively involved in the 6 parishes they attended .Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who gave all to her family .

Mary is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Francis Delaney, husband James , sons Joseph and Kevin , and sister Frances. She is survived by her children James, Maureen, Eileen ( William ), Robert ( fiancé Claudia) , and her adored granddaughter Kacie, as well as other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St Mary’s of the Lake Church , Lakewood , New Jersey, on October 17, 2022 at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers , the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of her son Kevin.
