Marjorie “Marge” Morris, 91, passed away July 22, 2017 at the Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Mrs. Morris was born in Lakewood and was a life-long resident. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School. Marge worked at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station during the war before raising her family and working for the family business, Hincks. Inc. for 40 years. She was a member of the Lakewood Elks, American Legion Post 166 and was very active with the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Lakewood. Mrs. Morris was an avid animal lover and was known for her chili recipe. Her true passion in life was taking care of her loving family. Marge was known for her generosity, warmth, laugh and beautiful smile. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Morris is predeceased by her husband Howard Jr. and brother, Kurt Rothe. Marge is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Valentini and her husband Michael and Joanne Viola, granddaughter, Tara Dombroski and her husband Mark, great grandson, Matthew Robert Dombroski, nephew, Howard Hinck and nieces, Cathy Martin, Mary DeBenedictis, Margie Longo and her husband Bob and Jan Peterson and her husband Pete. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 1-4PM at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 4PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
