Joseph Miller

Joseph Miller, 84, passed away October 19, 2013 at Meridian Nursing Facility in Brick. Mr. Miller was born in Brooklyn moving to Staten Island for many years before settling in Toms River, NJ. Joseph served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict being stationed in Germany. Mr. Miller attended RIT obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Printing. He worked for News Corp for many years as a consultant, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed exploring computers and financial investments. The light of his life was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife Jacqueline, two sons, Lorin and his wife Sheryl and Gary and his wife June, and four grandchildren, Paula, Craig, Lisa and Claire. Arrangements are under the direction of the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Joseph’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
