Joan was predeceased by her husband Michael; her sons: Wayne & Brian; a daughter: Sharon Szylar; and 2 grandchildren: Keith Leshko and Stanley Szylar.
Surviving are 3 children: Michele Cappello, Lisa Leshko, and Gary Leshko; 7 grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, Scott, Michael, Nicholas, Christina & Rachel; and 5 great-grandchildren: Abigail, Tristan, Brianne, Brian & Malory.
Until the very end of her life, Joan loved to crochet and knit. Everyone in her family has a blanket that she made for them and each of her grandchildren had hand made sweaters. She will be deeply missed.
