Gerard A. Pryor

He was born in the Bronx, New York in 1937. He was the son the of the late James F. Pryor and Irene Dooley Pryor. The family moved to Bayonne, N.J. in 1939 and then moved to Elizabeth, N.J.in 1957. In 1959, he earned a BSEE degree from the N.J. Institute of Technology, a MBA degree from California State University in 1971, A MS Business from the University of Southern California in 1972 and a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University in 1979. He was a longtime member of the Institute Of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the NJ State Bar Association. He worked for government and technology firms as an engineer, system analyst, and computer programmer for almost 40 years.

Gerry is survived by his sister, Irene Andrews and his nephews, Raymond, Steven and Scott.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, N.J.
