Born in Holbrook, England on September 25, 1929, to Clara and William Wragg, she grew up in Belper, Derbyshire. She sailed to the United States in 1948 after the war and married Raymond Fred Morgan. Raymond served in the Army Air Corps and was stationed in England. The two met at a dance, where she originally turned him down.
Doreen was a long time resident of Charles Street in Bloomfield, NJ, where she raised her own children and lots more - she was the grandmother to the neighborhood and was truly loved.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond in 1995.
Surviving are her sons: Raymond P. Morgan and his wife Kathryn, and William M. Morgan and his wife Carol; a daughter: Beth Mazza and her husband Bobby; 6 grandchildren: Raymond T. “RT” Morgan, William J. Morgan, Charlotte M. Morgan, Christina K. Cervantes, Christopher M. Morgan and Jennifer Carmen; and 10 great-grandchildren.
