Anthony Cariello Sr.

Anthony Cariello Sr., 76, passed away March 29, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Lakewood. Mr. Cariello was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Staten Island for 16 years and finally settling in Lakewood, NJ for the past 16 years. He is a graduate of St. Leonard’s High School. Anthony worked as an Installer for Western Electric for 32 years. Mr. Cariello was very active in the Fairways Community, namely volunteering at the ballroom events, the Men’s Club, golf and bowling to name a few. He was known to be a jack of all trades and for his beloved AC trips on Sundays. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Cariello is predeceased by his siblings, Josephine Tufano, John Cariello, Millie Nardello and Grace Burns. Anthony is survived by his wife of 54 years Alice, children, Terry Reinhardt and her husband Michael, Margaret Gilroy, Jerry Cariello and his wife Johann, Donna Cariello and Anthony Cariello Jr., grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Gina, Victoria, Teresa, Jaylin, Anthony, Alyssa and Gennaro and sister, Theresa Romano and her husband Patty. Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 1, 2017 and April 2, 2017 both days from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:30AM at the St. Luke’s Church in Toms River. Interment will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, NJ.
