Juan "John" was born on March 8th, 1933 in Gardner, Colorado. John joined the Air Force after graduating high school where he served for 21 years. He married Fabiola with whom he had one son, Phillip. After retiring from the Air Force, John lived in Denver, Colorado where he enjoyed listening to music, visiting family, woodworking, and watching his beloved Colorado sports teams. His kindness, humor, and warm smile will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm in the chapel of Advantage Runyan Stevenson funeral home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, the rosary will be recited at 6:00pm following the hour for visiting. A funeral mass will take place at 11:30am on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Sheridan, CO 80110. The committal service will follow at 1:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236, with full military honors.
