Debbie loved living in Colorado as it gave her the opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful mountains and long drives with Sam. They loved to fish in the hills, go to the lake, ride the Harley and just explore the hills. When she wasn't enjoying the mountains, she was crocheting, crafting or adding shoes and purses to her collection. However, her favorite time spent was the time she spent with her grandchildren. Special Debbie loved spending time with her grandkids, having tea parties, spa days, watching movies and eating treats. Going to sporting events, taking them shopping, going for walks, taking them to the park... her grandkids, along with her Sofie made her world go round.
Debbie's presence will be forever missed, her infectious smile and personality will forever live on in our memories and hearts. Her graciousness, generosity and loving heart were just a few of the things that made Debbie so special.
Her Journey
Don't think of her as gone away
her journey's just begun,
life hold's so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she is loved so much.
