I pray God gives The Davis Family comfort and peace. I am truly saddened to hear my kind opponent for ACC Boards has passed on. I am comforted in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that Lillian rest lovingly and comfortably in His arms. We are no longer opponent’s, but brothers and sisters. I do not recall or know of any unkind words from her campaign nor any scheming or selfish agendas. She was very kind and “Motherly”. I wish I had the privilege of knowing her better. I’m sure we will have such an opportunity on that grand day. Until then, I will remain mournfully saddened until I find relief in the memory of her kind smile. I really am saddened. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5

Dear Avery and family,
Lillian is a delightful friend and sister who supported our friendship with lunch gatherings in Houston.  We spoke on April 9th and shared memories of our mutual friends and families.  The world is a joyful place with Lillian and she will be missed.

Lillian was a great asset to me in my career at Austin Community College.  She was always there to help me grow professionaly.  She was also a great person and  helped my daughter decide to go after that degree in Event Planning and was a great role model for her.  We also had many good conversations over the years when getting our nails done.  She will be missed by us long time ACC employees!

Lillian was a heartfelt animal lover and a great dog mama.  We now have her sweet Lola with us and she also shows us so much love.  I will also always remember Lillian as one of the most dedicated UT football fans.  She never missed a game.  She will be missed!

Lillian invited me to her 50year pinning ceremony at the AXO House. I was honored to be with her at that event!

She was a great loving "sister," friend and mentor. I will always miss her smile and love for jazz and football.
