She was born on February 10, 1912, in Denton Creek, Texas to Leo and Margaret LePori.
Lenora was a proud owner of a restaurant, was an accomplished seamstress, and worked in the Food Services Department at Alief ISD. She retired at the age of 80.
Lenora loved to cook for her family and friends and was the best cook, especially her hamburgers and pies. She was truly an avid Houston Astros Fan. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, socializing and going to church every Sunday. Lenora was the life of the party!
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Flowers. Also an infant daughter, beloved granddaughter Cecile Perry, son-in-law George Denman, and ten siblings.
She is survived by two daughters Joan Denman and Faye (Dennis) Jones. Grandchildren Craig Perry, Anita Perry, Karen (Mark) Nail, and Laura (Jeffrey) Tepera. Great grandchildren Amber Holub, Eric (Kim) Holub, Wyatt Church, Blake Tepera, and Trevor Tepera.
Honorary pallbearers are the grandchildren and the great grandchildren.
The family would like to express our appreciation for the wonderful care provided to Lenora by the staff of Emeritus Vista Oaks and Hospice of the Hills.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to your favorite charity in her name.
The service will be held graveside at the Masonic Cemetery, in Waelder, Texas on December 26 at 11:00 am.
