Susan Linda Shaw

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Linda Shaw, a beloved mother who left us on August 27th, 2023 at the age of 71. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Susan was born on July 16th, 1952 in Grafton, ND. In her adolescent years, her family moved to Southern California where they lived for the majority of her life. She would later move to Florida to be close to her family. Susan worked for many years in the medical field. She had a passion for helping others (especially the elderly) and always went out of her way to be a confidant to a person in need. She loved being around family, her dogs (Tiffany and Maggie), watching movies, and reading. She was proud of her Norwegian heritage and enjoyed baking lefse for her family at Christmas time.

Susan is survived by her children, Jennifer (Tony) and Bryan; grandchildren, Nicolas, Julia, and Alyssa; brother-in-law, Willard; nephew, Christopher; and nieces, Julia and Laura, who will forever cherish the memories they created together.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Duane and Linda Knudson; brother, Gary Knudson; sister, Barbara Kirkreit; nieces, Amber Kirkreit and Tina Knudson; and nephew, Danny Knudson.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 2nd from 8:30 to 9:30am followed by a Funeral service at 9:30am. Interment will immediately follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Friends will be welcomed back to the Funeral Home following the burial for a Continental breakfast in honor of Susan. All services will be held at Dorsey E.
