My heart is deeply saddened today.. I just found out that a longtime friend And neighbor has left us! What a shock to me. Ive known Bobby (as our family called him) since I was Just a little kid. I remember having the biggest crush on him,as little kids tend to do sometimes lol! We lived next door to each other and we’re in and out of each other’s houses. Our parents were great friends. I would occasionally run into him , but today I realized it’s been years!!! I always thought it was just a matter of time before I saw him again. He was so kind to me. He also was always up to something!!! And FULL of FUN!!!!! We definitely had fun times together. Then when Wilma sold her house to Bobby .. I was older now (19)   He’d cook me steak dinners and peach daiquiris   Wat a hangover lol... never drank that again. But I will miss him terribly... he and Wilma were family to us, we loved them very much. And he really loved his mom for sure. I will always remember his big beautiful smile. Always quick to laugh. Just light up a room!! I will miss you Bobby!!! You were considered family. You will forever live in my heart as you have done for the last 54 years! I love you and will miss you forever ! Lost one of my boys today, very sad, watched them all grow up into men. They were all Best friends to each other and I know they are all hurting but they all have wonderful memories that will last forever. Love you all

Bc  was a good friend .. we always liked good food..we just went out to eat dinner a few weeks ago..so glad we got together..we laughed about lot of things.. what we can is to live our lives as best we can with purpose and with love and joy... the passing of bc has caused me to take pause and as a result..l am committed to make positive changes in my life.. thanks bc u will surely be missed by all..😎

I have known Bob since High School We became fast friends. He was so easy going. I moved down from Cleveland and I didn't know anyone. Well that just isn't gonna work with BC. Before you knew he is introducing me to everyone. That's just the way he was. But everyone knows that. There isn't anything the guy wouldn't do for you. You needed a hand moving Bob was there. Needed a friend to talk to Bob was there. Damn gonna miss ya buddy. See ya on the other side.
 



This is really tough, BC  wasn't just a best friend he was like a brother to me, just like the rest of my best friends. When you have been friends for almost half a century it hurts really bad to lose one. We all have some great memory's, mine start at the Cue Room where BC taught me to shoot pool. Then started the gambling, we would hit bars late at night trying to hustle up a little money, he was usually the shooter, then we moved to Jai Liy, looks like I might have spelled it wrong, he always had a plan, from there he moved on to poker and sports betting. Every Super Bowl he would get some of my money, I always let him pick first, he was going to get the team he wanted no matter what.  But most of my memory's are of all of us partying and drinking, he could drink you under the table. One night we drank vodka and grape juice, at the end of the night we were in front of his mom's turning her lawn purple, after that night I switched to Jack Daniels and never went back. I posted some of the photos I could find but there are hundreds more to dig up, I hope everyone enjoys them RIP BC, LOVE YOU!!

July 4TH, 2013 , was the best Independence Day Celebration of my life. Spending the day with friends at John Prince Park eating your famous BBQ. We watched four different Fire Works displays and talked about all of the crazy things we had done in our lives. BC, you always smiled and had a laugh that was infectious. You are missed and loved by so many. Love you always, my friend.

To a great friend a great guy we'll miss you , thanks for the memories over years . We love you B.C.. 

" True friends are the ones who never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while.  Even after years apart, you pick up with them right where you left off, and even if they die, they're never dead in your heart. "

And so that was BC's and my experience as friends.  We wouldn't talk for years as we wandered through our various lives, but when we connected we were still old friends and "picked up right where we left off. "  An old and everlasting friendship that simply can't be replaced by a new one.  BC,  you will be missed by many.  

I met Bob back in the 70’s. He was 4 years older than me, which is pretty much a lifetime when you’re a young teenager, and though BC and I never really spent a great deal of time together, we were nevertheless friends, and whenever our paths would cross over the years the occasions were always memorable.

In the early days Bob was one of the few people in my circle who had a driver's license AND a vehicle of their own. That vehicle was a van, which was about the hippest ride you could have back then, and I remember how cool I felt him allowing me to tag along and be part of the gang. We listened to his 8-track tape player; where I first heard the album, Asylum Choir II. To this day whenever I hear that record I think of him and that van and that night, cruising around, listening to music. Bob knew all the words and would sing along. He had a great voice. He was the best singer of all of us.

BC was one of the pillars of a relatively small group of people I consider friends. He was always nice to me. He always made me laugh, and I always felt that any get-together was bettered by his presence. It’s unfair that he’s gone.

Mark Twain once said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." I don’t know if that’s true, but I do know that surely one of the reasons BC graced this Earth was for the gifts he gave to those who knew him. For that ever-present twinkle in his eye, for the love that shined inside him, for the laughs, and for the song he sang.

Goodbye old friend. I’ll be thinkin’ about ya...whenever the music plays.


B.C. was a long time friend and I will miss him and all he was to me. We had some great years of friendship and shared many great time's. We had so much fun working together and laughing alot over everything and anything.   He laughed  all the time and showed others how to be happy in all things. He always showed compassion, care and love to everyone and never failed to make you feel special. He was so special to me and I will miss him and the way he would light up a room and my world. He was a man of his word and had a way of sharing and caring.  He always held his head high and never faltered.  He was special and always will be to me. I will always  love you B.C.
