Nancy was born on September 17, 1955 in Oneida, NY to Raymond and May (Maxwell) Morgan. She received her Associate Degree from Mount Ida College in 1975. On May 12, 1979, she married Thomas Paul Shore and planted roots in West Palm Beach, Florida where they raised two daughters together, Kelly and Kimberly.
After being diagnosed with diffuse systemic scleroderma at the age of 43, she found a passion for helping others and devoted her life to the church and God, sharing her message of perseverance and joy despite her chronic suffering. She was known for her infectious smile, generous spirit, faithfulness, creativity, and her overall zest for life. To know her was to love her and she will be forever missed.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Morgan and her mother, May Maxwell Morgan. She is survived by her husband Thomas, daughters Kelly (David) Porter and Kimberly (Matthew) Cawley, and her four grandsons; Maxwell, Anderson, Michael and Oliver.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Community of Hope West Palm Beach Campus located at 2341 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415. A luncheon reception will follow after the service. Masks are highly encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation.
