Louis Oben Locklear Sr.

On May 18th, 2023 Louis O Locklear, Sr was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Louis, Jr (Teri), Lori (Doug) Dorsey and Brian Locklear, his grandchildren Kayla Dorsey, Brandon (Jordan) Dorsey, Shannon Locklear and Logan (Nicole) Locklear and Great Grandson Beckham, Brothers Grover (JoAnn) Locklear, Dock (Vivian) Locklear, Jr. and Sisters Betty (Al) Allison, Mary (Wayne) Stroup, Brenda (Paul) Grogan and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was proceeded by his wife Barbara Ann (Conner), parents Dock Locklear, Sr. and Mary Lowery, Brothers Stancil, Charles (Maeo), Lawrence (Linda) and Vargo (Judy) and Sisters Thelma (Joe) Clohossey, Ann (Ralph) Craig and Bonita (Gerald) Feeman

Louis was born in Lumberton NC. While in high school he was drafted by the US Army and proudly served two years in the Korean war. He completed high school after he returned from service. He moved to WPB to start his family and career as an insulator with Local #60.

His natural ability to meet people and love them was effortless. He was proud of his family and loved them deeply.

A visitation for Louis will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a prayer service will occur at 6:30 at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
