Jeffson was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, to Adele Romain and Solomon Denis, who both passed away when Jeffson was a child. Jeffson was raised in Jeremie, Haiti by his family. Jeffson’s uncle, Benito, and aunt, Gislaine, taught Jeffson about God, familial love, and how to use woodworking to provide and build a beautiful life. Jeffson studied civil engineering at Universite Americane Des Sciences Moderne, where he started his dream company – La Cigale Construction. Through his work, Jeffson demonstrated his guiding principles: building community and empowering others to succeed.
Jeffson and his wife, Sonide, were partners for more than 10 years, always creating a more beautiful life and future for themselves, their daughter, Isabelle, and their beloved country, Haiti. Jeffson worked hard for his family, and his determined and giving nature will never be forgotten. Everyone who knew him loved him and was loved by him. Jeffson created strong bonds and friendships that made him closer than a brother. He could get along with anyone, regardless of their differences. He made the best of – and had a story for – every situation.
Jeffson was a man of God, and never turned his back on those in need. He was warm, caring, and endlessly patient – even when God placed obstacles in his path. Sonide will remember Jeff for his strength and loving heart, while Isabelle will always remember Jeff’s silliness and meaningful lessons.
Jeffson is survived by his loving wife, Sonide, his adoring daughter, Isabelle, and his sister Marie Pascal, as well as many other loving family members and friends. If you are moved to contribute to Sonide and Isabelle in their time of need, thank you.
