James was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Smalley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Geraldine; son, James Smalley (Ellen); grandchildren, Cara, Jenna, Colin; sisters, Barbara DeWitt (Richard) and Sandie Saltzburg (Frank); brother-in-laws, E. Robert Gibbons (Betty) and Edmond Gibbons (Bonnie); nephews, Rob Gibbons, Kevin Gibbons, Brian Gibbons (Ashley) and Richard DeWitt; nieces, Karen Klotz (Rick), Lori Barlettano (Gary), JoAnne Sarkisian (Barry), Kristi Adams, Kristin DeWitt and Nicki Saltzburg.
Graveside inurnment service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, at 11:00AM, at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
