Eileen Ford Desmond Landine, 79, peacefully left this world on September 24, 2020. Professionally, Eileen devoted her life to psychiatry and was an R.N.C. for more than 35 years. She headed units at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL and Sandy Pines in Tequesta, FL. Eileen was a woman who loved and valued her family and always put them first in her life. Eileen truly had a profound love for many people and was quick to reach out to others. Her selfless nature led her to gaining many friends and loved ones over the years. With her big heart, beaming smile and quick laugh Eileen became "Mom" to many people in her lifetime, a title she held with her own unique way of light hearted humor, rooted in a deep and sincere love.
Eileen will be fondly remembered by her children Jeffrey and Kathleen, her step-daughter Liz and her beloved grandchildren Nolan, Rebecca, Claudia and Chloe. Eileen was predeceased by her son John and step-daughter Stephanie as well as two devoted husbands, John Desmond and Robert Landine. In addition, Eileen leaves four sisters, Sharon, Nancy, Elizabeth and Diane and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her brother Richard.
A Celebration of Eileen's life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared as arrangements are made.
