Sarah A. Shafer, age 18, of Lake Odessa passed away on May 10, 2017. Sarah was born on July 14, 1998 in Muskegon to Randy and Christina (Morgan) Shafer. She was a 2016 graduate of Lakewood High School. Sarah was known for her kindness, light and joy that she brought to others. She was also a published author and avid reader.
Sarah will be dearly missed by; her mother Christina, siblings Nacole Rieger, Kyle (Ashleigh) Rieger, Alan Shafer, grandparents Marv (Judy) Morgan, aunts Jaime Shafer and Angie Morgan, great grandmothers Achsah Blochowiak and Freda Morgan, along with cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death are; her father Randy, grandparents Tom and Carol Shafer.
A memorial to celebrate Sarah’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Koops Funeral Chapel at 5pm. Memorials in her name can be given to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
