On the morning of August 27th Robert “Bob” Pelkey Jr. returned to his heavenly home. He passed peacefully at home with family at his bedside. Bob was born to Robert and LaVerne Pelkey on November 29, 1945 in Escanaba, Michigan. Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret "Marge" Pelkey; his son Brian (Amy G.) Robinson; his grandchildren Travis (Amy J.) Robinson and Whitney Robinson; his brothers Gregory Pelkey and Todd (Dee)Pelkey; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scott Pelkey. Bob worked for many years at Amway, where he retired in 2008. Since retirement, Bob and Marge would spend their Summer months at their home located on Morrison Lake. During the Winter months, they would spend time in Zephyrhills, FL. Bob and Marge cherish many friendships they have grown throughout the years on Morrison Lake and in Zephyrhills, FL. Bob was known for his avid karaoke singing and loved to entertain friends and family, as well as spending time out on Morrison Lake with them. Bob loved to travel with Marge to many different states throughout the US. He was a hardworking and kind-hearted man. Family and friends will miss his genuine smile. Bob's faith in God carried him through and provided him strength throughout his lifetime. A service will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11am. Following the service, there will be a small gathering at Bob and Marge's home on Morrison Lake for a Celebration of Life. Memorials in Bob's name can be given to St. Edwards Catholic Church.
