Phil Possehn

Phillip A Possehn, 68, of Lake Odessa passed unexpectedly on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his home. Phil was a lifelong resident of the Lake Odessa community and was an avid hunter, animal lover and reader. He loved sports of all kinds as well, attending many local sports team events as well as watching them on TV.

He will be lovingly missed by; step siblings Teresa (Mark) Brenner, Bill (Patti) Weller, Mike and (Toots) Weller, Pat Weller, Ellen Weller, Dan (Kathy) Weller, Loren(Cindy) Weller, JoEllen Weller; Uncle Ray (Marilyn) Possehn, Aunt Doris Shattuck, Aunt Katie Possehn; many nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Kate Possehn; sister Debra Possehn, Stepfather Jacob Weller; stepbrothers Gerry and Terry Weller, sister in law Anita Weller, Aunts Lucille Heppe, Hulda Sutton, Helen Godwin, Uncles Don, Tom and Herb Possehn.

A Celebration of Phil’s life will be held on November 29, 2022 at 11am at Koops Funeral

Chapel, with friends gathering at 10am before service. He will be laid to rest with his parents and sister at a later date.
