Anne was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 1, 1937 and lived a majority of her life in Lake Odessa, Michigan where she knew many people, and felt especially loved and supported by her long time friends Dwayne and Helen McArthur. During her early years in Lake Odessa, she lived upstairs in her grandparent's home, attended school and worked at the local ice cream parlor. She was also a member of her class reunion committee, something she very much enjoyed. Anne attended the Central United Methodist Church and for many years attended the Friday night fish fry dinners where she relished socializing and engaging with her community.
Anne attended Davenport University and served as a secretary at an insurance company in Grand Rapids, MI. She also married and had three children. Later, Anne held various jobs for several years and met many people along the way. Preceding her in death are her father Rex Gordon Branch, her favorite aunt Delora (Harold) Myers, sister Sara Goderre, sister Missy Torrey and brother Gordon Branch. Anne is survived by her children Rebecca (Mary Banghart-Therrien) London, Jenny (Fred Sawyers) London and David London, along with grand daughter Averie London, siblings Steve Branch, Greg (Diane) Branch, brother in law Don Torrey along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 1-4pm at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Ionia County Mental Health's "The Right Door" 375 Apple Tree Drive, Ionia, MI 48846 or to the American Cancer Society.
