Ronald J. "Ron" Ledoux

He fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last eight years. He was a retired commercial and residential painter with local 783 for over 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Comilleau Ledoux of Maplewood; son, Shannon John Ledoux of Westlake; daughter, Dixie Ann Ledoux (Fruge) of Maplewood; sisters, Ethel Tradewell of Lake Charles, and Katherine Benoit of Ragley; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Ernestine Ledoux.

A mass of Christian burial will be 11am, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Visitation will begin Tuesday, 4pm-9pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with a Cursillo rosary at 7pm and resume Wednesday, 8am until service time. Burial will be in Highland Memory Park. Pallbearers are Mike Danahay, David Oliver, Tony Richard, D.J. Broussard, Vaughn Peltier and Tony Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers are, Shannon Ledoux, Rusty Carr and Roger Rosteet.
