Roger Clifton Williams Jr.

Roger Clifton Williams, age 79, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Roger was born on December 8, 1943 in Gastonia, NC to Roger Clifton Williams, Sr. and Virginia Brown Williams who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Penny Williams.

Roger retired from Westlake Polymer Plant as an Electrician. After retirement he enjoyed showing his car in local car shows. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Marian Williams; twins, Roger William III of Phoenix City, AL and Natalie Williams Otero (Ray) of Lowndesboro, AL; son, Matthew Williams (Megan) and Mitchell Stine both of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Myles Williams, Maddox, Carter, and Elijah; sister, Melba Williams; brother-in-law, Howard James; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, and will resume from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 in the Chapel of Peace at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Lake Charles.
