Robert Edward Shepherd, 65, passed away October 6, 2019 following a lengthy chronic illness. He was born September 25,1954 to Clifton Shepherd, Sr. and Irene Moore Shepherd.

As were his parents, he was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He attended Lake Charles High School. His occupation centered around the construction industry, having participated in numerous ventures in Lake Charles and Lafayette. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffani Mae Nicoscia; his brother, Dr. Clifton W. Shepherd; and 3 grandchildren; Jordan, Haleigh, and Aly.

Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2019 from 11am until 1pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Funeral Services will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum at 1:30pm. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
