Robert Karl Kramer

Preceding him in death were his parents; Robert K. Kramer and Dottie Zimmerman and sister Patricia A. Kramer.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Beth ( Elizabeth ) Kramer, daughters; Alicia Baldwin ( Brian ) of Longville, LA and Jennifer Kramer of Lake Charles, LA, brother; Ronald Kramer ( Sandy ) of Lake Charles, Danny Zimmerman ( Jennifer ) of Lake Charles, Brian Zimmerman of Lake Charles and sister; Lori Zimmerman Johnson ( Chris ) of Iowa, LA, grandchildren Emma and Andy Baldwin; father - in-law Van Schmutz of Lake Charles, LA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rob loved Jesus Christ, his church, his wife, his daughters, grandchildren, siblings and extended family. He also had a passion for deer hunting and the outdoors.

After graduating from LaGrange High School in 1970, Rob attended McNeese State University and then began a 40+ year career in Industrial Design working in Houston, TX, Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, making many lifelong friends.

Pallbearers are: Ronald Kramer, Danny Zimmerman, Brian Zimmerman, Eric Schmutz, Chris Johnson and Brian Baldwin. Honorary Pallbearers are: David Schmutz, Paul Schmutz and Henry Schmutz.

Visitation Service will be Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4pm-8pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA and will resume on Saturday from 11am until time of Service at the New Hope Baptist Church in Dequincy, LA. Funeral Service will be Saturday 2pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Dequincy, LA with a burial to follow at New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, LA.
