Peggy was born June 12th, 1946 to James and Octavia Husers. She worked as a hairdresser for 35 years at Resthaven Nursing Home. She and her former husband, Obie LeBlanc, operated and owned LeBlanc’s Café.
Peggy lived her life for her grandchildren. They meant the world to her. She loved her many adventures with them and being able to tell all her friends and family about it. Peggy and her present husband, Norman Ravia, enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and jug lines and trout lines.
Peggy was a member of the St. Margrets and Our Lady of Queen of Heaven Church.
Peggy Ravia is survived by her husband, Norman Ravia. Daughter, Tonya Sonnier and husband Rusty Sonnier. Step-daughter, Michelle Pourciaux. Grandchildren, Chris West, MaKenzie West, Shane Sonnier, Julia Pourciaux, Maddie Smith, Dylan Pourciaux, and great-grandson Asher Pourciaux.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Octavia Husers, daughter Angela West, brother Buddy and Charles Husers, and two angel grandbabies.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home Chapel of Lilies Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:30am until time of memorial service at 2:00pm. A rosary will be held at 12:00pm.
