Patricia was a native of Lake Charles where she met the love of her life, Raymond Launza. They married on June 15, 1960 and later moved to Elmendorf Air Force base in Anchorage, AK in 1975 where Raymond was stationed. While living in Anchorage, Patricia worked at the local school district as a teacher's assistant for the special needs and she was a proud member of the Bethel Chapel Church from 1975 to 1989.
