Kenneth Ray Langley, age 74, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. Kenneth was a native of Basile, La. and a resident of Carlyss, La. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Kenneth was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Sulphur, La. He formerly worked at Walmart in the Paint Department and retired from Brookshire Brothers as the Dairy Manager after ten years of service. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing with the grandchildren, speaking Cajun French and reading the Bible.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Shelby and Mary Ann Langley.
Kenneth is survived by his Wife of 21 years, Karen Rougeou Langley of Carlyss, La,, Sons, Ronald Hollie, Jr. of Carlyss, La., Jason Langley and wife Gwen of DeQuincy, La., Billy Hollie and wife Stacy of Starks, La., Daughters, Tanya Meche and husband Mark of DeQuincy, La., Jennifer Derouen of Carlyss, La., Dolores Hollie of Sulphur, La., Brother, Gary Langley of Grand Lake, La., Sisters, Jennifer Kate Ryder of Lake Charles, La., Shelly Campbell of Lake Charles, La., Grandchildren, Ashton, Nickey, Martina, Tyler D., Hayley, Ronnie, Madyline, Blake, Christy, Americus, Orlando, Tyler F., Makayla, Alysadelle, Brylei, Abby, Great Grandchildren, Emma, Dallon, Aiden, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Embree, Khoston, Zander and Ryder.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Billy Hollie, Brady Lepoint, Ronald Hollie, Jr., Blake Langley, Tyler Derouen and Orlando Hardy.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Meche, Tim Naquin, Caleb Morgan and Wesley Hudson.
Visitation will begin at First Pentecostal Church of Sulphur, 606 West Parish Road, Sulphur, La. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. It will resume on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 8:00 AM until service time. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM at the church with Pastor Harlan Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Rougeou Cemetery, Longville, La.
