Judy Ann Rutherford

She was born September 11, 1949 in Lake Charles to Warren and Ruby (Murphy) Miller and married Wendell Rutherford. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Frances

Miller and Donna Fletcher.

Surviving is her loving husband, Wendell of Creole, three sons, Jay, Ben and Jonathan Rutherford, one sister Karen Boudreaux, her mother-in-law Olive Rutherford, brother-in-law J.E. Rutherford and his wife Julie, sister-in-law Carolyn McCall, brother-in-law, Dr. Dennis Fletcher and many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sunshine.

Judy was a lifetime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she played the Piano for over 50 years.

She loved sewing, quilting, singing, geneology and keeping up with family and friends on facebook.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 28 from 5 to 9 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles and will resume Wednesday, October 29 at 9:30 am at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Creole until the start of service at 11:00 at the church. Burial will follow the service at Miller Cemetery in Creole.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Alexandria.
