Deborah Chambers Lyles, age 71, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Deborah was born July 25, 1951 to parents James D. Chambers Jr. and Thelma Whittington Chambers in Greensville, MS.
Debbie graduated from Lake Providence high school in 1969 in Louisiana. She later attended beauty school in Monroe, LA. She moved to Lake Charles in 1971 where she met and married her husband Alan Lyles. Together, they had two children: Alanna and Casey. She later became an employee at Boeing as an aircraft Mechanic. She retired in July of 2016 from Northrop Grumman. She was a member of Trinity Baptist church for 11 years.
Debbie was known to be a compassionate caregiver and wanted to take care of everyone she met. She always had a big smile on her face. She loved to travel and loved to play BINGO. She would attend CCOA every weekend. Debbie collected tin containers, porcelain dolls, and antiques. She loved to shop flea markets to find the best collectible antiques. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, her husband of 37 years, and her brother; Jay Dee Chambers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Alanna Bruney and husband Lee of Lake Charles, LA and her son Casey Lyles, sister; Nancy Dianne Parker and husband Gary of Sondheimer, LA. 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Debbie in the Chapel of the Lilies at Hixson Lake Charles at 3001 Ryan St. Lake Charles, LA. 70601 on August 27,2022. Visitation will begin at 12pm with a service beginning at 3:00pm.
