Al joined the Marine Corps at the age of 17 and passionately committed the next twenty years in proud service to his country including a tour of duty in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He brought the love of his life, Norma and their three children along for this grand adventure. Al never forgot where he came from and visited family and friends in Louisiana throughout his life.
After his retirement from the Marine Corps, Allen worked in human resources in the oil and gas industry. In his continued effort to learn and grow, upon his second retirement, he entered the real estate profession to enjoy more success with his son, Allen Keith Hebert.
Al was a lifelong baseball and football fan who loved to attend live sports with friends and family. Al was also able to watch his two favorite baseball teams, the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, square off in the 2022 World Series.
Al was a social, charismatic man who never met a stranger. He adored his wife, children, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was generous, fun-loving, warm and friendly to all.
