Albert “Chester” Fontenot, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 01, 2016 in Lake Charles, LA. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He was a member of the IBEW for over 60 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ella Fontenot, son David Fontenot and wife Carlene of Lake Charles, daughter Sharon Fontenot Woods of Shepherd, TX., brother Jerry Roy Fontenot of Gueydan, LA., four grandchildren David Ross, Kayla (Jacob), Andrew, Joshua, along with four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until the service time on Saturday.
