She was born on February 14, 1943 in Louisville,Kentucky.
Valerie enjoyed gardening and working with her plants. In later life she enjoyed traveling to Arizona to visit her sister Nancy, with one of her favorite sites being Oatman, AZ where the Burros freely roam in the old gold town. She also enjoyed visiting Columbus, Ohio to spend time with her sister Connie, and brother Jack.
Her father, Check Sumser, started Check's Cafe in Germantown. Above all, Valerie's world were, her daughters and her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Lynn.
Left to cherish the memory of Valerie are her daughters; Michelle Moberly, Kimberly Lindeman (Mark) and Holly Moberly, grandchildren; Alex Lindeman (Carly), Austin Lindeman (Debra), Nikolaus Moberly and Mason Lindeman, 3 great-grandsons; Cameron, Jack and Reece Lindeman, beloved dogs; Bella and Avery, siblings; Nancy, Connie, Jack, Georgia and Royann, extended family, of included many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of Valerie's life will be Saturday, Sept. 24th at her home and next door at her daughter’s home, from 2:00pm - 6:00pm.
