She was a member of Buckner Christian Church and a retired Postmaster at the Masonic Home.
Preceding her in death was her parents: Ethel and Charles L. Prather Sr.; sister: Lottie Mae Ritchie and brother: Ed Prather.
Survivors include her husband: Michael Jackson; daughter: Ida Michelle Jackson-Hall (Carl); step sons: Michael Jackson (Angie) and Adam Jackson (Gerri); Brothers; Charles Prather Jr., Ray Prather (Treva), Pete Prather (Mary Ann) Turk Prather (Janet), Sam Prather (Donna) and George Ritchie; sisters: Doris Abell, Margaret Potts (Gary), Theresa Lackmann (Bob) and Linda Clark (David); grandchildren: Shelbie, Kyle, Luke, Bode and Charlotte Ann Jackson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 3-8 PM.
