She was a devout parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a singer in the Choir. Laura was a hotel service express manager, former teacher and yoga instructor. She was an avid University of Georgia football fan where she received her degree.
Preceding her in death were her father, David Boothby; mother, Mary Anne Lazarus.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, John Mahan; stepson, Nicholas Mahan; brother, David Boothby (Danielle); nieces, Brandi Wells (Mike), Taylor Lesner (Eric) and Brooke Boothby.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 AM on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Thursday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.
