He was a member of Buckner Christian Church and retired from Ford Motor Company as a Layout Inspector. Dan was a Mason, first starting at the Lodge in Shepherdsville and then LaGrange. Through the Masonic Lodge he got involved with the Shriners.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 71 years, Beulah Jennings Warren; sons, Daniel Warren Jr. and Michael Warren; parents, Luther David and Thelma Imogene (McDowell) Warren; brother, David Warren; brother-in-law, Austin Jennings; and sister-in-law, Thelma Raake.
Left to cherish the memory of Dan are his daughters, Kay Roberts and Donna Smith and her husband Kent Smith, Dan's son at heart; grandchildren, Tiffany Gregory (Jason), Glenn Roberts (Jessica), Amanda Simcoe (Chase), Trent Smith (Melanie) and Trever Smith (Serena); great grandchildren; Hunter Gregory, Will Gregory, Kaitlyn Gregory, Chloe Roberts, Kinsley Dedrick, Abbie Simcoe, Presley Smith and Mason Smith; brother, Glen Warren (Cindy); brother-in-law, Tommy Jennings (Geraldine); and sister-in-laws, Bonnie Warren and Debbie Jennings.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation from 11am until the start of the service.
