Tracy was born February 28, 1966 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Jessie “Gene” Hall and Rosa Juanita Shelnutt Sloan. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church, where she was baptized. Tracy was feisty lady who loved to be a jokester, but also had a tender heart for kids. She enjoyed time spent with family, including swimming with her nieces and nephews and going to Texas Roadhouse with Kyle. Tracy was an avid UGA fan and loved her little Fur babies, Little Man, Little Girl, Daisey, Bitty AKA Icky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse “Punkin” Hall; brother-in-law, Phillip Mazzola; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Monroe and Irene Borden - who loved her as their own.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dempsey Borden; her children, Jeremy Heard, Brandon Brooks and Kyle Brooks; siblings, Tammy Mazzola, James “Joe” Hall, Ronnie (Sandra) Hall, Chris Sloan and Ginger Bradshaw; her step mom, Joyce Hall; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy Borden, Marvin Dewayne (Annie) Borden, Roger (Lisa) Borden, Teresa (Billy Ray) Toney, Pam (Lamar) Veal, Ricky (Tina) Borden, Faye (Jamey) Scott, and Vicky (Barry) Fountain; several nieces, nephews, a best friend, Becca Cole; other relatives and friends and family that loved her very much and will miss her.
The Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am Friday, October 14, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel and the family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time. Burial will follow in the Potash Cemetery in Roanoke, AL.
The family will be at Tracy's home and will gather at The Pentecostal Church on Chase Road, Thursday evening at 6:00pm for a dinner and to receive friends.
