“Pat” as he was affectionately known, was born August 24, 1948 in Plant City, FL. He was the son of the late Judge Lewis Render Morgan and Sue Lorraine Phillips Morgan. Pat was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and attended Auburn University and Sewanee Military Academy. During his early work tenure, he was employed with the Georgia State Patrol and then retired from the City of LaGrange after 14 years of service. He dedicated all his time and energy for the caring of his beloved wife, Cindy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Anthony Hollis Rogers, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Barnes Morgan; son, Parks Morgan Jr. (John Roy); sister, Sue Ann Morgan; daughters, Christie Sigmin and Cassie Adkins Ott; niece, Christy Patrick (J.P.); grandchildren, Brenden Adkins, McKenzie Blanks and Dylan Ott; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, August 4, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Lagrange Humane Society in memory of Parks “Pat” Morgan.
