Linda Smith

Mrs. Smith was born February 18, 1945 in Rome, GA, the daughter of the late Marcus Gordon Hicks, Sr. and Pauline McCollough. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retiree of N.O.K. Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gene Andrews.

Mrs. Smith leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James “Jimmy” Smith; two sons, Michael (Donna) Andrews and Wayne (Tabatha) Andrews; step mother, Liz Stewart; grandchildren, Ryan Andrews, Cassie Hannah, Jeremy Andrews, Jordan Andrews, Austin and Brennon Andrews, Courtney Andrews, and Tyler Andrews; siblings, Marcus G. (Martha) Hicks, Jr., Elaine Fincher, Betty Stewart, Bobby (Sheryl) Hicks, Gary (Sha) Hicks; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bud and Linda Yates, Randy and Yvonne Smith, Susan and Tim Williams; step son, James Allen Smith, Jr.; other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Restlawn Memory Gardens and the family and friends are gathering at 105 Clearwater Drive.

Flowers will be accepted or the family requests donations be made to West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mrs. Linda Smith.
