Linda was born March 13, 1949 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late William Aubrey Wallace, Sr and Annie Ruth Smith Wallace. She was once a Night Auditor for Holiday Inn Express and was a member of Teaver Road Baptist Church. Linda was very creative, enjoying crafts, making beaded jewelry and sewing clothes and costumes for her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and her animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abbott Newton Skelton.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina (Keith) Hall and Pam Wright (Billie) Wright; grandchildren, Christy Padgett, Ashley Hall, Zachary Hall, and Dustin Wright; also several other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life will be 11:00am Saturday, March 4, 2023 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Linda W. Skelton.
