Judy F. Watson-Scott

Judy was born May 2, 1950 in Heflin, AL, daughter of the late William Alex Watson and Effie Mary Jane Watson Lester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Brenda Rogers, Kenneth Watson, Virginia Haley and David Waters; aunt, Lelia McCormick; and grandson, Larry J. Scott.

Survivors include her son, Joel (Veronica) Scott; special friend and caregiver, Floyd McCormick; siblings, Shirley Watson Cone, Darlene Borden, and Larry Watson; grandchildren, Joel Scott Jr., Jenny Scott (Aaron) Gregg, Jackson Scott, Justin Broughton, Jazmyne Taylor, and LeAnna Pinkard; grandchildren-in-love, Michael McMillian, Zack Nixon and Jessica McMillian; multiple great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00pm Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Joel Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
