“Richie”, as he was affectionately known, was born October 31, 1967 in LaGrange, GA. Richie was the son of Cynthia “Cindy” White Bowles and the late John “Johnny” Virgil Bowles. He attended Southern Union State Community College and worked for Nissan of Newnan. Richie was a member of United Congregational Christian Church. He deeply loved his family and friends, classic rock music, and his dog Bear. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, the outdoors, and football. Go Dawgs! Richie will be remembered for his wicked and witty sense of humor.
Those left to cherish his memory, his mother, Cindy White Bowles; daughters, Caitlin Eve Bowles and Emily Jean Bowles; sister, Lori Bowles Pullen (Danny) and their children, Maycie Pullen and John Pullen; loving partner, Cathy Gonzales and her children, Christopher Michael Roper and Joshua Charles Gonzales; mother of his children, Robi Higgins; many other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 6:00pm in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Brandon Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the LaGrange Humane Society or the charity of your choice in memory of Richie Bowles.
