Connie Rice

Mrs. Rice was born March 8, 1957 in Gadsden, AL, the daughter of the late Barney and Florence Beacham. Mrs. Rice was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who’s greatest joy in life was her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by three siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Rickey Rice; three children, Renea and Mitchell Nasworthy; Crystal and Willie House; and Chris and Marlena Rice.Five sisters and brothers, Cathy Dickie; Mae kell, Martha Odell, Geneva Clark , Brenda Taylor and Barney Beacham; grandchildren Kayla Thomas, Austin Nasworthy, Clayton Rice and Isabel Rice.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, June 10,2016 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Thursday June 9, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to any Shriner’s hospital for children in memory of Mrs. Connie Florence Rice.
