Charles Robert Morgan Jr.

Mr. Morgan was born April 29, 1943 in LaGrange, GA, the son of the late Charles Robert Morgan, Sr. and Lucy Elizabeth Belle Isle Morgan. A man of character and integrity, Charles’ wisdom, his sense of responsibility, generosity and most importantly his profound love for his family was apparent in all he did and the person he was. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and golf. Charles retired as the CEO of Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, GA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Washington.

Survivors include his loving wife, DeLayne Morgan; daughters, Melodie Morgan (Bobby) Stanley and Jena Morgan (Marcus) Long; granddaughters, Stephanie and Samantha Stanley; grandsons, Andrew and Alexander Long; siblings, Jennifer (Larry) Nichols, LouAnne Morgan, Reverend Eldon (Kathy) Morgan; sisters-in-law, Susan (Dan) McLean and Brenda (Frank) Strother; brothers-in-law, Claude Washington and James Poole (Scott McBeth); many additional nieces, nephews and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00am in Restlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Eldon Morgan officiating.
