Mary Ann Asaro

Mary Ann Asaro was born on July 3, 1923 in San Diego, California. She was a Seamstress for over 20 years at an Upholstery Shop. She was a life long resident of San Diego County. Mary Ann passed away on February 11, 2016 in La Mesa, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Asaro on June 10, 1988. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter and son in law Serafina and James Bortfeld of San Diego, California; son Anthony Asaro of La Mesa, California; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5 - 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary. Both being held at Erickson-Anderson Mortuary - 8390 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church - El Cajon Blvd., La Mesa, CA. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will be held after the burial back at St. Martin of Tours church hall. Blessed are those who died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them. Eternal rest grant Mary Ann, O Lord. May she rest in peace. Amen. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
